Mahratta's Showcase: Chicago

Great city. Pretty similar to Toronto, really; jealous of the Symphony Centre - Roy Thomson's acoustic has nothing on it!

One of the first places we went to was the Navy Pier. Something like an amusement park jutting out from downtown. Great skyline views.

Not from a Torontonian's perspective. Everything's relative

Toronto is the center of the Universe, this has already been proven by Albert Einstein's theory of relativity.

and Special relativity, too. Regarding dilation of time, increase of mass, etc. - Toronto will always hold the 'rest' position. Everyone else is the observer. Just in case we're ever moving at relativistic speeds, I guess.

NO, not really. that's like me saying my father looks like me instead of saying *I* look like him.

Thanks folks

from the John Hancock observatory...I didn't have a tripod, so I didn't dare shoot in colour and pump the ISO up (it was nighttime)

I can't agree on that...Chicago bears an uncanny resemblance to Toronto (or, to satisfy some in this thread, Toronto bears an uncanny resemblance to Chicago). The atmosphere on the street was different, though.

I've never been neither to Toronto nor to Chicago, but judging by what I see in pics, I don't think they are so similar...
