The Feds are about to make a waterfront announcement!

http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/a.../22/c9127.html
Let me guess, the Feds will announce millions in new funding for the waterfront in a desperate attempt to shore up votes in Toronto. Until the cheque is in our hands, these promises are worth about as much as Pinochio's. How many times have they promised to do something about the waterfront, and no money or even regulatory assistance was offered? Instead, they tried to cram an island airport down our throats to help their corporate pals, and supported the pork authority. I understand Downsview Park (something they promised 10 years ago) actually has a few blades of grass now. And some trees have been planted by volunteers.
