Discovering the beautiful SANTA CATARINA State - BRAZIL. Three pics per post

Santa Catarina is a state of Brasil, in the south of the country, the state is also known as Santa and Beautiful Catarina or just Santa.
It is a place of peculiarities in Brazil; it’s the only which the capital is not the biggest city of the state.
Santa Catarina has registered the higher temperature range, with 45 (113 Fahrenheit) degrees Celsius in Orleans and -17 degrees (1, 4 Fahrenheit) in Urubici,
The state located almost 500 kilometers of beaches of various styles, as well as large areas of plateau and mountain regions up to 1700 meters.
Santa Catarina has about 5500 million. Most of this population is of European origin, with a strong Germanic, Italian and Portuguese influence. Many towns still preserve the language, customs and styles of building left by their descendants.
As their culture is strongly influenced by Europeans, Santa Catarina has many towns with less than 5000 inhabitants. This contributes to the maintenance of the characteristics of colonization, which is easily visible in cities like Treze Tílias (Swiss), Pomerode (German), Itapiranga (German), Nova Veneza (Italy), Nova Trento (Italy), Brusque (German ), among others.
From these sources comes the fame of Santa Catarina in Brazil and the tourism, emerges in these small towns or larger cities that preserve part of its origin, as well as Blumenau, a city that houses the second largest German festival in the world, second only to the festival in Munich in Germany.
But the highlight of tourism in Santa Catarina is right on the coastline, and there emerge many beaches and cities, including Florianópolis (capital), Balneario Camboriu (main tourist destination), Blumenau, Joinville, Porto Belo, Laguna, Governador Celso Ramos, Itajaí, Penha, Piçarras and others.
As another example of cultural tourism, we have one of the largest dance festivals in Brazil, Joinville. The marejada in Itajai, the Fenaostra (Oyster festival) in Florianópolis, the National Festival of Jatropha in Lages (typical festival of the mountain region) and the Tirolefest (Austrian festival) in Treze Tílias, among many others.
And clearly, the nightlife in most of these cities is well shaken by the amount of people who go through them in the summer. Balneário Camburiú, with 100 thousand inhabitants is up to 1 million in the High Holiday season, the same number of Florianópolis, with 400 thousand residents fixed and Bombinhas with only 230 thousand of tourists, even when the just 15 thousand live around the city.
There are many destinations in Beautiful Santa Catarina and talk about all this in such a short space is almost impossible.
Because of it is better to show the many faces of Santa Catarina.

Recalling: the posts will be limited to only 3 per post.

I start showing a lil bit of the capital, Florianópolis (Floripa)... and a video about Santa Catarina.

One of most classic views of the city, in the Morro da Cruz, looking to downtown.
