Looks like they didn't take parking fees and tolls into account, if they did, NY would probably make the list, possibly even be #1...

wow... no surprises... most of them a sprawling metros with little or no public transportation....(well, maybe beside SF). I think NYC, chicago, and other sprawling metros will be in the top 20.
Good for Philly, Boston, Cleveland, and Honolulu... |

Los Angeles MSA need take off from list because gas price goes dropped but I can be care less about this list too.
Just better result to find good job in suburb area but not commute to downtown everyday unless u live in Los Angeles basin including Westlake, Silverlake, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, East LA, West LA, Santa Monica, Culvar City, Pico Union, West Hollywood and South Central LA. Santa Monica and North Hollywood is pretty little far away from downtown. |

lol, when I was in Orlando in Oct 2003, I couldn't believe how cheap the petrol prices were. In SE England it would equate to about $5.50/gallon.

I hate old people because they get cheap insurance, even old people who have been in accidents. Meanwhile I have never been in an accident and I pay more than old people who have.

I would've thought New York, Boston, LA, etc. would've been at the top.

kinda odd, cause LA and SF seem to have some of the highest gas prices as well as some of the highest commute times (in fact I think a study found LA and SF 1 and 2 in terms of hours wasted in a car respectively)

They should count toll ways. In Chicago, the tolls cost 80 cents per car! I drove from Joliet to O'Hare the other day and it cost me $5.20!!!! Insane, we can thank that idiot govenor rob blagojevich for that...
