Ágora (Valencia)

The last building of Calatrava, in the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of arts and science), it's a polifunctional building that in a few days will house an Open 500 of tennis.

Palacio ducal de Cogolludo (Guadalajara, Castilla la Mancha)

That's the first really Renaissance building in Spain, in a tiny village of Guadalajara. Was built in 1492.

International train station of Canfranc (Canfranc, Huesca, Aragón)

Inaugurated in 1928 in the Pirineos mountains, in 1970 it was closed, although it never had the success it was planned to control the train traffic between France and Spain. After lots of years abandoned, is being converted into a luxury hotel.

Guernica (Vizcaya, País Vasco)

This village is sadly famous because it was the first aereal bombing over civil population in the World. The village was bombed by the german war planes from in 1937, when the Hitler army supported general Franco against the Republique.

Picasso, the famous spanish painter, immortalized the scene in his famous masterpiece "El bombardeo de Guernica" only a few weeks later. This is a reproduction in the village.
