Eh why didn't I have internet and ssc when I was a kid

So many notebooks full with renderings of future Riga ... so many projects ...

But now I don't have the time to redraw them all

that's great! I love the pedestrian only zone in Vecriga! And looks like you have more than just the Dienvidu un Ziemelu koridors bridges? 2 more? Is that something Riga is planning?

we don't need that. Jelgava pretty much is a Riga suburb, I think the whole area from Riga down to Jelgava will become one multi-city region in the future, like a megacity (one continuous big city). It's only about 30-40 km from Jelgava to Riga airport. That's very close. Most airports in western cities are further than that from the city.

His map is mostly based on current Riga plans.

or...

Riga plans are based on his map.

Sure!

He added Piejuras magistrale crossing and some mysterious crossing in Rumbula, which really appears in Riga plans. Who knows if these will ever be needed...

I have fantasized about that as well. But - in reality - where we will take people for that? Only if 1) Latvia economy grows so much, that there will be full of immigrant workers who will stay to live here, or 2) every Latvian family will start to make at least 5-6 children

Just like Gatis and RipleyLV said ... my plans for roads is mostly based on the actual Riga development plan, cuz to my mind it is OK

It already almost is. Drive from Jelgava to Riga: Ozolnieki, Dalbe, Olaine. But we should be careful about that, that is not really a good thing. It has to be planned smartly, with high density development, not low density sprawl. Latvia right now looks more like USA with low desity sprawl and low density communist planned city blocks. USA will have very many problems in the future because of low density sprawl (already does, will only get worse).

Latvia needs to be more like Europe and Japan: high density pedestrian oriented cities and urban environments, with many transportation options, not just cars.

^ In such scale RCC looks more than worthy with just 17 floors! Good job anyway, who knows maybe someday all world will undestand the great potential of Riga and will jam it with similar high structures!

Nneznjanka,
Do you think London Gherkin would fit into Riga skyline? I don't know - may be
------
Hybrid,
I like the Double Swedbank. Would it mean that Swedbank has expanded into Latvian market and become officially the Latvian Government?
