I realize there are a lot of investor and tower enthusiast on board here in which low prices are good however, a $2 million dollar penthouse condo in downtown Toronto can be had in a developing world city like Rio for $175,000. I like that fact.

and the condo will be gated and pretty much walled in, with lots of security. Life is very different there.

I think you missed my point as I wasn't making an sort of direct comparison between the two cities at all.

an expensive Toronto translate to high wages which makes the rest of the world very affordable.
