and the condo will be gated and pretty much walled in, with lots of security. Life is very different there.

A wander around the site of X and X2 today.....











that charming little Victorian/Edwardian house is now hidden by a box. My guess is when the box is removed, **poof** no more charming house.

I think you missed my point as I wasn't making an sort of direct comparison between the two cities at all.

an expensive Toronto translate to high wages which makes the rest of the world very affordable.
