And I'll add a few photos taken in the last couple of weeks by me for those unfamiliar with the city.

Nice photos. Why does it look like Brisbane has a bigger skyline than Perth and Melbourne?

Brisbane is bigger than Perth (Australia's third largest city)

Brisbane has a far bigger and more emerging skyline than Perth. At the moment Brisbane has two 200m+ towers being constructed on opposite ends of the CBD. Two others which are 200m+ are on hold due to the financial crisis. and could resume anytime soon. As of 2009, Brisbane has 47 skyscrapers more than 100m in height, where as Perth has one 200m+ tower under construction and 11 skyscrapers of 100m + in height. Melbourne leads both with 60 skyscrapers, 100m or more in height.
