Portsmouth - UK
Portsmouth is the United Kingdom's only island city, located on Portsea Island on England's south coast. The administrative unit has a population of 197,700, which forms part of the wider Portsmouth conurbation, which has an estimated 442,252 residents, making it the 11th largest urban area in England. At the 2001 census it was the only city in England with a greater population density (4,639 /km2 (12,015/sq mi)) than London as a whole (4,562 /km2 (11,816/sq mi)), although many of London's individual boroughs had a much greater density. Portsmouth's skyline is dominated by the Spinnaker Tower, a massive observation tower and by far the tallest building in the city, reaching 170m into the sky. It is located in the newly redeveloped area of the city, Gunwharf Quays, which contains a massive shopping centre, many bars and restaurants and the landmark 'No 1. Gunwharf Quays' residential tower.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's not the best skyline ever, bear in mind that it is a fairly small city, but imo it has great potential for the future. Rate and comment with constructive criticism, please!

Forgot to give my own rating!
Well, I gave it a 9/10 - for such a small city it has a really good skyline, and as I said in the original post, it has plenty of potential for the future. Might be going to University there, fingers crossed!
