At the beginning the connection to China was fast. And this was good.
Later the download of the pics took longer and longer. And it began to be bad.
If i open now a China pic thread i always open an other IE window to do something during the waiting time.

What happened ?

I think there could be two reasons:

1. Some Chinese forumers are not good at English, so they are trying to use big ammount of photos to support what they want to say, but I think mostly is they love their cities (we understand, right?)
and Chinese peole are very friendly people, they like you to visit there (don't you think so?)

2. In China today, most of the internet users are fully equipped with broadband, so it is fast to upload much pictures. (I am not so sure what connection you use for your internet connection, but it won't be a big problem for me, I am in the States and I use the DSL)

They may make people feel exaggerated, but they just want to show their love to their cities, will this hurt anyone?
Btw, do you think that any other contries or cities' forumers put a lot of photos also? I feel this forum is somewhat press Chinese forumers and with double standard.

Let's improve each other instead of quarrel with each other like kids.

It was in the city vs. city forum! ChinaboyUSA, you said you thought Beijing and Shanghai were more important and better than London. You didn't back up your argument at all; don't act like I'm the one being irrational here.

The entire purpose of the London vs. Shanghai thread was "where would you rather live?". It was also, I'm assuming, supposed to be a large part of the Beijing vs. London thread. I wouldn't want to live in China--hopefully you know why by now. And did I ever say I don't like China? It's a beautiful, fascinating country--I wouldn't mind vacationing there. But actually live there? No thanks; I'll take London.

Ok, Could you do me a favor by deleting the words about the quoted part anything about 'you don't like China' because that's not true.

and don't worry, I won't die if you take London.

If anyone has problems regarding threads in City vs City section, please inform Rainier Meadows or the other mods of that section.

This is an international forum, to be enjoyed by all, and we do not tolerate deliberate country-bashing or racist behaviour. If you encounter such behaviour please inform a mod.
