Sounds like what happened here. We'd had the same milkman since way before I was born, delivering his goodies in a little old electric milk float. Then a couple of years ago he retired to be replaced with an unreliable young milkman in a noisy diesel van.

Yet my parents are too polite to tell him to f*ck off.

Well tbh if the new one looked like that second image I would have opposed removal of our milk delivery service

I'm sure there's some sort of joke involving a hot young milkman delivering his pints of the white stuff into your porch. I'll have to go away and think about it for a while.
