I haven't seen it in person yet, but those pictures don't look all that bad to me. It would be better if the upper windows mimicked the lower window shape or the cornices above matched the historical ones below. And it will undoubtedly feel more integrated to the neighborhood once the sidewalk is open and there are some trees around. But it's a million times better than, say, the monstrosity behind Trader Joe's on 17th(?).
