I've always thought the Forth Rail bridge looks a bit of a bulky mess TBH.It's undoubtedly an impressive historical, industrial structure but to me it is far from elegant and not particularly beautiful. |

How about......
In my opinion, the best (biased): Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough: ![]() ![]() Newport Bridge (M'Boro/Stockton-on-Tees): ![]() Infinity Bridge, Stockton-on-Tees (U/C Finish End of Jan.) ![]() ^ Taken September (Much further on now).

this is the bridge to be built in Sunderland, the UK government are funding £72 million for this. |

I won't do it until somebody else does I've always admired this bridge in Florence. It's a joy to talk across with all it's market stalls ![]() I bought a book on Calatrava the other week but it's really hard to decide which is my favourite of his bridges
