#Approved: The Milton (Milton) - 30st/103m/residential

Not going to happen for a while but due to its size & scope, I think it deserves its own thread:

Prime Site last Friday had an article on FKP's plans for Milton Railway Station. There's been discussion on this on here before but I don't recall it being quite so big. Here's the details (in the words of the Courier Mail - not sure exactly what they mean):

It is reported to be 30 storeys or 20 storeys above Milton Station (can someone explain that - Milton Station isn't 10s high is it?).
It will be a mixed use project worth $200m consisting of a 150 room hotel on Railway Tce and and office podium fronting Milton Rd inlcuding retail, library, gymnasium and childcare facilities. The podium will straddle the site & house a 20 storey residential tower above the station, consisting on 200 apartments.

FKP will lodge a DA in September and will begin community consultation within weeks, which I guess will mean renders will be released, if they haven't already. Wether its 20s or 30s or whatever, this is a huge project which will have a massive impact on Milton. There's nothing much above 10s at the moment is there?
