What would people regard as the top 10 historical indian structures? Last edited by gho; October 16th, 2008 at 11:18 AM. |

This list is not at all exhaustive. There are many, many more monuments which haven't been covered.
Also, most of the links are not working. |

damn. It looks like a majority of the threads went missing probably after the re-org of the Indian section. Though this section wasn't affected directly, that's what I'm guessing.

If you want to see the Royal Raj put's heritage then you should visit Rajasthan, Places like Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer etc.

Announcement
Around 40+ threads have been restored in the History, Heritage and Period Architecture Discussions forum over the past couple of days. These threads were lost sometime in 2008 - at the time of the reorganization of the Indian section. Go ahead and check out the restored threads which were made by the efforts of a handful of ubermensch members, most of who don't post anymore. It is time that we rebuild the History and Heritage forum by updating the existing threads with amazing images and creating new threads to make it a more lively place to visit than what it is right now. I'm going to do my bit from now on. Everyone is invited to pitch in with images, threads and new ideas! IU |
