Holiday Cetre <Pilka Bellas> at Nica Region (on Baltic sea coast near Liepaja town), Latvia

Holiday Centre is located on Baltic sea coast near Liepaja town. A Baltic maritime rural landscape is a basis for the architectural solution of the building. The design follows the regional tradition of Latvian architecture, the same time making the environment for the recreation more romantic and homey. The cetre includes the main building with different rcreation facilities and 22 living houses with more than 200 different size apartaments.

It's really great project, but you could have posted it in Latvia development thread or maybe open a Liepaja development thread, if you're from there and are ready to report about new projects and development of Liepaja on more or less regular basis. Liepaja surealy earns to have it's own thread!
(just if we start to open new threads for each project this section will soon be a big mess!)
And, of course, welcome to forum, Tom!

When looking at overview map of whole project - too much asphalt or concrete in dune zone, close to the sea. Whole complex also reminds a but a group of greenhouses - mass tourism without much charm.
But people tend to like it and there can be profit in this, so why not? Let's take those Lithuanian vacationers by our projects, otherwise they build their own in Pape

It's about 40km from Liepaja, but there is no information about project progress. As we know in thease times it is probobly stopped.. But someday, who knows..

Ok, for next posts I'll make Liepaja development thread.

Oh, superb, finally a forumer from Liepāja, warm welcome!
The project looks cool, though too glamourous, the investor seem to make this one just for his own profit, but its really good for developping the surrounding area, would attract numerous tourists and so on!

Looked like a commercial to attract attention but not caring about comments really.

Looks interesting, but not really eco-efficiently designed... Windows on tp of roofs give light, ut are bridges for cold... Will use a lot of energy to build, use, take care of...

Should probably consider revisting wit new low energy eco-materials...

Why not use wood in a modern way?

Too big for that place, probably will go bankrupt or never realized project. And that place is warm by northern standard, so energy efficiency is less important compared to Cesvaine for example.
