yup, u can add Sushant lok, Dlf Phase V, II, I , Nirvana Country, and Golf Course road to that list from gurgaon .....

Yupp and also all those farmhouse areas like westend greens, chattarpur... hey what's the sit. with sainik farms? Is it going to be regularised?

I also heard that a lot of farmhouses Dwarka side are going to be acquired ?

Sainik Farms...oh does that issue still exists even...!!!

yaar nothing will happen to Sainik Farms as we say it in local dilli lingo....Sainik farms mein sabke papa log rehte hai.....influential and the most high profile people....and this talk has been around for last 15 years now....

nothing will happen to Sainik Farms...

yeah in dwarka it will be eaten up by local authority soon...bechchare dwarka waalein ...hehe

Jungpura Extn 2 (Not the Bhogol area ) is quite posh also the other side of the Nizamuddin where all the foreigners live. Cant remember what block but I lived there for 1.5 years with my relos. Some parts of Pitampura (the outer ring road side ) is extremely wealthy with individuals villas and flats.

yes very true.....infact i know a guy in jangpura -II who owns bloody 18 imported cars which includes..ferrari, sexy white lambo, bntley flying spur...a jaguar.....wow man they peopl are damn rich....n yes som parts of pitampura..or in broad terms say punjabi bagh hav some gran d big villas and kothis....nice place actually...

Traditionally rich people in Delhi are from Punjabi Baag and Rajouri Garden area.

I like Hauz Khas too. I remember when they started all those fashion shops inside the village , probably one of the first place to shop for "international brands" in Delhi.

Rajouri Garden and Punjabi Bagh are richest colonies in West Delhi along with Kirti Nagar.South Delhi is poles apart when it comes to comparing the urban rich.

However West Delhi newly built has better Infrastructure as compared to South Delhi.

Delhi on the whole is much much better compared to older cities such as bombay and calcutta where the roads are so narrow !

how about Greater Kailash 2? I lived in S block for 2 years, mostly 3 storey terraced townhouses but also individiual houses also. In W Block some huge houses. Also nice little parks in the area and you have great independant (as in not in 5 star hotels) restaurants like Diva, Nu Delhi, Smoke House Grill & Mainland China aswell as Costa, Barista & Cafe Coffee day.

wow just checked out farmhouses in these delhi farmhouse suburbs and they make gk2 look like a slum in comparison!

Hey what do you think - for my plot -

either

1 40,000 Sq Ft bungalow

or

four massive 6 bedroom flats within a complex with a swimming pool etc

or

two blocks of 4 flats each ?

Dude trust me if i had such a big plot at such a prime location i would have gone for 40,000 sq feet Villa/Bunglow with modern architecture and yes would have easily accommodated a swimming pool in it....hehehe

A villa like that would be amazing !

It would probably be the biggest house in Delhi...those lutyens houses in central are only about 3/4 thousand square feet on average. [ i used to live on teen murti lane .... ]

Sorry biggest house belongs to Mr. Jindal on 7, Prithviraj Road...thats approximately 3500 Sq Yds and is the costliest..
