Not actually, there's not any forest in Baku City...The area which is purposed for this project is close to city centre. But it is not in the centre though...It is planned just on the main airport highway...

Well, first of all, that oil field which is called as Bibiheybat oil field is one of the worlds oldest oil fields. The area belongs to SOCAR-State Oil Company of Azerbaijan. And there have been made some ecological projects over there.

And When it comes to this project it is purposed in another area. This brand new stadium will be located on the airport highway close to Azizbekov metro station. And for clarification, the name Olympic Stadium may be temporary being derived from its high capacity. There is an opportunity that it may be renamed later.

The last thing it needs is a sponsorship name from an Azeri company or something. But being named after someone, maybe. I like the idea of Olympic Stadium better.

Yea for sure, i'd give the name of "SOCAR Arena" with a great pleasure. SOCAR is the main sponsor of Azeri National Team
