PM to inaugurate new airport terminal

Thiruvananthapuram, May 7 (PTI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the new international terminal of the Thiruvananthapuram airport by this month end, a state minister said.

The state government was providing all assistance to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the construction work, Kerala Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Vijayakumar today told reporters after reviewing the progress of the work on the terminal.

The airport terminal is constructed at a cost of Rs 289 crore. The approach road to the terminal is being laid by the state government at a cost of Rs 81 crore, work of which would be completed soon, he said
