Buenas compañeros! la idea es investigar un poco mas de Belice, sus deportes, tanto futbol, baloncesto, beisbol, boxeo, etc
El principal deporte es el futbol, pero debido a la falta de dinero no se ha podido obtener casi ningun logro
Logros: 3 participaciones en los juegos olimpicos, en los que no ha ganado ninguna medalla
En la copa Uncaf su mejor posición ha sido el sexto lugar con 1 punto, superando a Nicaragua

en efecto, en deportes Belice ha sido prácticamente nulo desdichadamente, aún recuerdo que no hace mucho jugó bien contra Costa Rica acá en Guápiles lo que pareciera que su fútbol -poco a poco- va levantando.

Marion Jones Sports Complex


The Marion Jones Sports Complex, previously the National Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Belize City, Belize. It is used mostly for football matches, track and field and cycling. The stadium holds 7,500.

It is named after former track athlete of Belizean descent, Marion Jones.

History

The National Stadium was established sometime in the 1960s as a venue for horse racing, football and cycling. The Cross Country Cycling Classic and other such events often finished with laps around the cycle track, originally sand and later asphalt.

A famous murder, that of Derek "Itza" Brown, took place on its grounds in 1992.

Eventually, the stadium was upgraded to its present condition, with planned expansion and conversion to a domed stadium expected. After her visit to Belize in 2001 at the height of her success following the Sydney Olympics, the stadium was named after Jones. Even with Jones' recent disgrace over steroid allegations there have been no plans to remove her name from the stadium.

3 of them are still under construction. Stadiums are lacking Belize.

• The Belize City Civic Centre currently is being remodeled. It is an international Basketball and Volleyball court.
  
• The Marion Jones Sports Complex would have been finished had it not been for her drug scandal. It will be for Football and Track & Field.
  
• The Stadium in Belmopan only holds about 10,000, but is considered acceptable by FIFA.
