Bangkok MegaBridge Project Need Update

Hey guys, does anyone have any updates on that massive ring road project in Bangkok? It's that huge project with multiple spans and overpasses that cross the major river. I am surprised there have been no updates, has construction been delayed or something?

Also on the northern tower on the southern river crossing, they have installed the formwork to give the top of the tower a flare to finish it off...seems all the cable guide tubes are installed. For the southern river crossing, there will be 14 cables each side (56 total for both sides of both towers) of the bridge to carry the 390 meter span. For the northern span of 280 meters, there will be 11 cables each side of each tower. The two bridges are different heights i guess...

I really appreciate your update! Thanks big time. This truly is an amazing project, and the scale of it really is the largest currently under construction anywhere in the world.

Impressive bridge - I am a big fan of the modern cable stayed design.

I'm guessing both bridges will be of same height, as water traffic at this stage of the river includes larger feeder container ships (up to 2500 TEU) as well as passenger cruiseships, these vessels usually have a max. height above water of 40m. Guessing the bridge will incorporate a good 15-20m safety margin, thus roadway height around 60metres. The difference in the number of cables will be proportional to the centre span of the bridge.

An impressive feature is the multigrade interchange between the bridges which, due to the height of the bridges is also quite a distance off the ground, maybe one of the worlds tallest?
