Better they should let the toll hike be commenced noon pa para walang problema. Yang Stupid Atty. Francisco na 'yan, nagpapacute lang 'yan sa publiko.

The first case that Atty. Franscisco filed vs. a toll road company was in 1998 and he got a TRO on the toll rates of Coastal Road. At that time, he was a member of the ACCRA law firm and, without permission from the partners, he used ACCRA letterhead and signed as an ACCRA lawyer in his petition with the court. That is a very grievous offense in a law firm so he was fired by ACCRA. I think it would have been much better for the country if he had been disbarred.

Since that time, he has been a very prolific crusader, filing numerous cases vs. toll road companies.

Perhaps there should be an A-C-Tex thread, but can someone in MATES do something about their entry-exit points, particularly Filinvest (Alabang) and Calamba? It seems that their transponder system is not compatible with E-Pass. Horrendous traffic and waiting time just to pay or pass thru with your E-pass.

When are they going to have just one electronic billing for SCTEX/NLEX/SLEX/STAR? This would be very convenient to motoring public if implimented. Anyway, they still have to solve the issues of toll hike.

May proposal yung Group Egis during mid-2005 ata na gagawing isahan na lang ang mga electronic toll collection sa 'Pinas na para hindi na raw gumastos ng isa pang ez-pass kada expressway. EasyTrip is supposed to replace E-Pass aside from EC-Tag pero hindi ko pa alam kung negotiation with CMMTC/SOMCO and/or MTDSLTC is/are still ongoing kasi as of now, sa NLEx pa lang meron EasyTrip and soon sa SCTEx.

Unless ACTEX is accepted in mainstream usage, this road still remains SLEX and always will be.
