It's because if they don't know what the weather is going to be, they just put the most frequent condition as the prediction, and, as it's a British organisation, Heavy Rain is the norm.

I got back from the hospital a few hours ago. Had to get an x-ray to check my ribs out, I suspected I had broken them (I haven't luckily). How did I get injured?
I fell into a bonfire last night. I don't remember it at all. I was at a training weekend with the Running Club up by Aviemore. Was at the bonfire and slipped and fell into it, hitting my ribs on a log or a stone or something. Luckily I was wearing a thick hoody so just got lightly burnt on my hands. Needless to say the nurses weren't impressed with my story. I'm a bit of a tit. Now I'll forever be known in the running club as "the guy that fell in the fire". Ribs hurt like hell, painkillers for a few weeks! Yay! ... |
