Houses on Adelaide Drive in the new-urbanist neighborhood of Cannery Village in Milton. Cannery Village was begun in the mid-2000s and has been designed to flow into the old center of Milton. In addition to more traditional houses, Cannery Village will also have a clubhouse, some neighborhood retail, and will be connected to the famous Dogfish Head microbrewery.

The Old Sheriff's House, on Market Street in New Castle. The brownstone Italianate house was built in 1858. Connected to the house in the back was the town jail, which was closed in 1901 and demolished in 1911. Some remnants of the old jail can be seen behind the building, such as doors to cells on the second floor of the house's walls, and part of the jail yard.

The fiancees folks bought a summer home down there a few years ago, and that's where the linkage comes from. When I'm in the area, we usually go down to Southern Delaware such as Milton, Lewes, Rehoboth Beach et al.

Graves at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Chesapeake City Road in Pencader Hundred. The cemetery is the state's New Castle County location. The road through the cemetery is Sgt. James P Connor Memorial Circle. The Circle was named after Sergeant James Connor, who was a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions in southern France in World War II.

Nice. That area is pretty nice, and I try and get down there when I can as well. There's a lot of different and interesting little towns in that vicinity: Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Henlopen Acres, Milton, Dewey Beach, etc.

The Vandyke House, on Main Street in Odessa. The house was built in 1840 and once served as a doctor's office.

The Robinson House, on Main Street in St. Georges. The house was built in the 1750s and is the oldest building in the old canal town.

The Ashland Covered Bridge, over the Red Clay Creek in Ashland. The bridge was built in 1860 and was rebuilt in 2008.
