Added a few more pics into the thread, hopefully it will change some people's percerption of Sheffield being a grim run-down industrial northern city

Excellent pictures, I've only been to Sheffield once and was really impressed with it.

It's trams are excellent as well.

Fantastic city, some great buildings and the nightlife is superb!

I actually prefer Sheffield to Leeds, it is a more down to earth, and welcoming city in my experiance.

Never been to Sheffield and never had any great desire to frankly but my mind has changed. Pre-this thread the most exciting thing for me would have been a visit to Park Hill/Hyde Park for a dose of sheer brutality.

Its amazing how British cities all look fantastic as soon as the sun is shining!

Nice pics, the Lyceum is a lovely building, as a side note I always thought Sheffield was better than Leeds, nicer buildings etc

There's quite a few good photos in there. Unfortunately for sheffield South Yorkshire can't compete with West Yorkshire

I prefer Sheffield to Brighton but there you go. Crappy comment, why bring Leeds into it?
