Due to recent activities, and incase there is any confusion here are some rules to follow.

These rules are for your safety, to protect you, to protect other cultures, and to ensure that SSC is a nice place to be where you can enjoy pretty much unlimited access across the entire world.

SSC is about skyscrapers, cities, architecture, urbanism, structures, urban planning, infrastructure and the likes. It was created to share info, images, facts, figures and especially enthusiasm world wide about these things.

It's not really a place to vent your personal idea on politics and religion, for most of the time these topics tend to create a negative atmosphere. So if you wonder why your input on related current events got deleted, there you have it. Thank you all for keeping an urban mind around here.

Anyone who verbally abuses another member, trolls their threads, or spams them continually will find that their access to SSC becomes restricted. In severe cases access will be permanently revoked... and yes, that means you will be banned.

Pornography OR any material that causes offense will not be allowed.

Please do not use SSC to flame each other, or bully other members.

We live in a tolerant and free 'society' on SSC, but that does not mean you are free to hurt other people. So do not try to hurt anyone, either emotionally or with nasty comments about their work.

If you are very unhappy with someone or something, message me privately with links, and I will investigate the problem. Do not openly threaten to contact a moderator... this will not make things better.

Signature lines should not have nationalistic, combative, racist or any other kind of commentary which may offend others.

Signature lines are not permitted to include embedded coding, attachments, links which trigger a download, or any other kind of disruptive or involuntary action to either SSC's of our endusers' property.

Signatures which use effects that make the signature distracting or attention grabbing are not permitted.

Members are not permitted to link to any other website in their signatures for any reason.

Members are not permitted to quote other members of this forum in their signature.

Remember, many different people from many different cultures are present here together. So, please be totally respectful of your fellow members, it is this cooperation among so many that allows Skyscrapercity to thrive.

As always, SSC staff reserve the right to moderate for reasons not specifically mentioned here. You are here with our permission. We may revoke that permission at any time for any reason, or even no reason at all.
