Goodevening guys,
I would like to obtain some information -on paper- about the development from Liverpool/Merseyside towards the future in terms of: - new housing and neighbourhood renovation plans - harbour facilities , new docklands , - rail improvement/new lines , high speed connections - green areas - new roads/thoroughfares - tramways (actual lines & extensions) , metrolines , public transportation - airport facilities & extensions - industrial zoning - cultural buildings This should be published -I guess- in something called a masterplan or infrastructural plan for the city/region(especially the area from Southport to Warrington & the Wirral peninsula). Could somebody help me to give me information about this or where can I write to or who should I contact please? Thank you very much in advance. There's a lot of info on trams, housing, developments, airport in this forum. Use the index to look through the threads. Go to the beginning of the Development Summary especially. Lots of development/infrastructure info there.
The Liverpool Council Website contains some stats and info on infrastructure, as well as the Unitary Development Plan which will contain a 'proposals map' showing the 'zones'.- There should be other maps showing strategic diagrams too. Hang on... http://www.liverpool.gov.uk/environm...ning/index.asp Liverpool Vision website has good info too. http://www.liverpoolvision.co.uk/ |

On this page, you can find links to the Liverpool City Region Development Plan, which will answer some of your questions. |

Try this one also.
Liverpool Land Development Company The bottom of the page on this link has icons which link to other agencies i.e. Liverpool Council, English Partnerships, NWDA & euandmerseyside. See also the "Big Dig" for road projects on the same link above.

That link is working for me. Can you try again, maybe it was just a one-off thing that it didn't work for you. If it still doesn't work, I could E-mail you the PDF if you PM me with an email address. If that doesn't work, I can help you draft a letter, (although your written English seems to be perfectly adequate) but I think you just need to access the reports you can off the web. If you write, they will only ask you to access reports already on the website, they will almost certainly not answer individual questions because of pressure of work. There is one other report I've seen that is useful, it came out of the evaluation of the Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder, I'll see if I can find a link to that. EDITED: http://www.liverpool.gov.uk/Images/tcm21-32689.pdf This isn't the one I was thinking of, which I only have on paper, but if you google around these terms you will probably find some good stuff - " New Heartlands Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder". |
