M/T Eternity Built 1988 39,834 DWT
Well not many people get to go on board one of these oil tankers so i thought i would post some of my pics. Its the MT Eternity, which is a products/crude carrier which was built in 1988 Sth Korea. Its a medium size vessel which can carry approx 25,000mt of cargo... If you have any questions just let me know...
FCDB First was dry dock, El Ferrol Spain: ![]() A few other carriers around getting ready for dry dock... ![]() Inside part of the engine room ![]() Rudder & Propeller ![]() ![]() Looking under the keel, notice a few minor dents from an earlier minor colision with a wharf... ![]() Side View ![]() Manifolds where the hoses are connected to load/discharge cargo... ![]() View from the bridge ![]() Tugs getting ready to assist with movements... ![]() Name/Country of Registration... ![]() Radar while in a North Sea convoy ![]() The voyage which was completed ![]() Coming along side at Ventspils, the sound of crushing ice was cool ![]() Arm connected ready for loading ![]() Riga airport waiting for my flight back to London... ![]() Hope you enjoyed. PS below didnt happen when i was on board but happened to another one of our vessels when it went through cold weather in the Baltic up near Finland:
