I think skyscraper is a relative term depending on location. In the early days a 20-story building was already considered a skyscraper. For now CR can be considered a skyscraper because it is much taller versus its immediate surroundings and the other hi-rises in Cebu. And if it satisfies the visual illusion of its etymology "scraping the sky" then it can be considered one Perhaps 10-20 years from now when much taller buildings are erected perhaps it can be demoted to "hi-rise".

Your welcome @ Pres. Henz. It's just a manner of how buildings visually impact their surroundings. I remember in the 90's of how seemingly lofty the Rufino Tower (back then the tallest building in Makati) was back then and how its antenna scrapped the sky. Now it is completely overshadowed by PBCom Tower a block away and we can say it does not have the same impact anymore... Still tall though so I would say hi-rise. I don't think that the same will happen to CR though once Horizons 101 is completed since there is a considerable distance between the two.

The 200-299 meter figure given in SSC is perhaps the cutoff height for the term skyscraper. So even if there was a 400 meter tower right next to it, it would still be defined as skyscraper (though in terminology only and not in visual impact).

yup but its a little pricey.. hehe it does not come cheap.

The Vertigo cost P/600.. plus the P/300 entrance.. so that makes it P/ 900.00.
However, i was informed that they are actually coming up with a package rate for all the rides very soon.

I used to head the QA imaging team in one of the companies i have work with were we audit pictures that are already edited by the project staff using adobe photoshop. One thing i have learn is before i could reject a particular edited picture i need to reproduce a much better edited pic than the one being edited by the production staff. Thats the only way the manager would agree to my recommendation that the edited picture was done poorly and need to be re-edited by his staff. It's more convincing if you could reproduce a much better product if you make a better design than what is already being done.

Para nako mas maka tuo ko sa taw na manghinaway sa usa ka design if he or she can reproduce a much better design base on the current lot, available money for the project and the owners specifications.

How about we create another thread then those who do not like the design of a certain project will reproduce a much better design base on the specification of the owner. One example is Crown Regency Hotel. We produce a much better design ofcourse this will be done the by person itself that do not like the project and he or she will base it on the current specifications by the owner on crown regency its base on the specifications of Mr. King.

Suggestion lang ni mga bai ha para naa ta mabasihan ba why bati kaayo ang panan-aw sa uban ang usa ka design then para sad sa uban ok siya. Dili ba mas maayo if ingon ani?

MODS if bati gani ni akng suggestion unya maka cause hinoon ug away ug naay masuko please lang ko delete ani na post.

Salamat.
