When that worked I tried connecting 2 angled sections...that led to a simple cardboard stadium, and from there...

If you want to try building one just try fooling around with cardbaord for awhile and see what happens. If you get good at those then the switch to wood isn't really all that difficult.

I made many, many cardboard stadiums--making mistakes and perfecting techniques along the way--before I ever even thought about making one out of wood. I would advise the same to anyone.
agree.

Its really very nice. Well I have never seen such type of stadium. But How can I see it after all its dream stadium. But I have also never think about or never come any idea about it before. Bur after seeing this I came to know that I also should think for it.

Well after a long layoff I started a new project yesterday--a replica of New Yankee Stadium. This will be my first attempt at an exact replica so I'm sure some new challenges await me with this one. This one will also be the first time I'm deviating from my standard 1:600 scale--going slightly larger with a 1:540 scale for a bit more detail while still keeping the 24" x 24" base. I spent today creating the field template and making most of the main seating bowl supports.

I'll try and update with photos as I progress. Wish me luck!

Thanks Mark!

By the way I think you Wilshire ballpark is the best design concept I've ever seen. I can just see that stadium in the Wilshire district of LA..sweet.. but no where to park..

I hope you have a chance to build more of your own designs..

I could not find any of your post at "yankee fever" ooppps Eerrr I mean Baseball fever. Could you post a link if you have time?

Thanks!

Thanks, Big Daddy for the kind words!

I thought it was time for an update on the Yankee Stadium project. I just finished most of the work on the lower level seating. Next up is the "Main level" 2nd tier.
