Fair enough. That is quite a building though.

Looks like a really metropolitan and major city, I'll have to pay it a proper visit sometime. How big does it feel say compared to a Newcastle, Leeds or Manchester to those who've been?
Thanks. It's well worth a visit sometime. I'd say it's quite different to other British cities. It has a more European feel to it, well that's my thoughts anyway.

Some very nice shots there Mike, displaying many interesting angles.
You seem to have been unlucky in a few though where a number of buses are blocking the view. Or do you have a little fetish for them....??

I am glad to say that the day-to-day picture of Bristol are set to return on Monday. I've had a rather serios arm injury since September 19th and have had to recover but photos will be on show again from Monday onwards but only on week days.

Schmeek - Thanks for your comment, mate. Some of the buses do get in the way a bit but I do think they add to some of the shots. Thanks again.

Very nice pics

Why are the lines on the roads so weird?

I love that very vague police warning! Wonder what it was all about? Probably something like drug deals, etc..

Hi everyone, thanks for all your replies. This thread will no longer be updated as I have moved to the Urban Showcase where my pictures are now much better quality thanks to my new camera. Here, I will be happy to hear from you all and answer to your comments.

Some of us love those "damn tower blocks", and think it is about time Bristol was allowed to have some buildings of a size to match it's true status
(rather than being restricted to below the height of a parish church...)

nice bump.
yeah i've always thought bristol could do with some talls. not right in the centre perhaps around temple meads or around the end of the parkway motorway. it certainly looks impressive at the moment when you enter the city on the parkway but it can be improved
