Wolves = FC Twente
Two very similar sized clubs. Both expanding their stadium into the high 30's in a progression. Just a shame FC Twente are playing in the Dutch league otherwise Wolves might be Champions League players ![]() As you can see, this is how I expect Molineux to look like mid september. Lower tier completed. It also gives us an idea of what Wolves fans can expect with the finished development. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() Nice tight compact ground, looks very good. Found some new ariel shots of molineux on the Wolves website now the north bank has been removed. http://www.wolves.co.uk/page/Gallery...373406,00.html It looks as though Wolves are going to put together a really good photo and video journal of the construction of the new stadium. |

Although impressive, that is a very early render I think, especially when you look at how long ago it was posted. I have a feeling it's missing almost all of the finer details and I don't think that any of what you can see in that image was set in stone. Look at the back 3 rows of the bottom tier for example... how on earth do people get to those seats without climbing over other rows of seats!? haha! It was an impressive image though, nonetheless. Anyone got any idea what's going on with the webcam at the moment? It doesn't seem to have refreshed since Friday night? |

Heres an update from the web cam today.
Looks like theres a lot going on, plenty of vehicles on site. Hopefully the steel work will start to go up at the end of next week. ![]() Source: http://www.molineuxpride.co.uk/wt/live_cam |

Foundation work is really well underway now. Am I right in thinking the foundations towards the bottom left of the picture are poured? They definitely look like it, in comparison to the other trenches.

They certainly are, they were poured over the weekend. I checked today and most of the trenches now have the re-bar cages in them ready for the concrete. I would imagine most of the foundation will be poured by the end of the week.

Footings are really coming on now. Some form of scaffolding seems to have been erected in the south east corner but I cant really see on the web cam. Looks as if the re-bar is on site.

Also I've noticed that most of the boards that face the pitch have been painted Gold.

It has to be Asda, they have an identical store in Rotherham.

What is that has gone up next to the scaffolding?
![]() There's going to be a concrete wall in that area (behind disabled seating), but I wouldn't have thought they'd start building that before they started on the actual structure of the stand, would they? So I'm not enitrely sure what they're doing. |

Looks like a stairwell to me.
I must say, I don't like idea of having the exits at the front of the stand. The front row should span the width/length of the pitch rather than being broken up by exits. It's detrimental to the idea of creating an intimidating atmoshere.

That's what I thought it was, but I talked myself out of it, thinking it would be odd for construction to begin with that rather than the steelwork etc.
I also dislike those front exit/disabled seating area things, they ruin the stand for me, almost entirely. But still, exciting to see it going up vertically now |

Another one has appeared!
They must be being built off-site and brought in... which would explain why they're going in before the steel work. |

yeah, I just noticed the second one going up. It still seems odd to me that they'd do those before any other construction... myabe just me ha!

Always like the Molineux as a stadium, it’s a modem stadium with a traditional feel. The expansion looks good but personally I would still like the open ends like Villa Park

I agree, I would have liked to have seen the disabled seating area moved to the side of the pitch not behind the goals.
