I created this thread for Melbourne Skyline photo's only. Much like the Auckland Skyline thread. Auckland also has an "out and about" thread much like the "random melbourne photo of the day" thread. It serves a different purpose

This is expected of all photos unless they are in the public domain (i.e. taken before 1952).

Sorry, they're nice photos you've added to avoid possible problems later on, it's important to credit the author and if you do not have this information then unfortunately the images cannot be posted here.

If you took the photos yourself, please state so (as obviously the copyright holder can do as they please).

The Bolte has the best view of Melbourne's skyline in my opinion.

It's the only place to see Melbourne from it's harbour view. I wish they would build a walk alongside the bolte for the public.

Lend Lease should up the game and pay for a lift/stair case on the inside of the tower on their side of the bridge and build a viewing platform around it at road level. Good patronage generator for Victoria Harbour and Docklands in general.

I don't think the Wheel wants too much competition....although the Bolte has great city views across Victoria harbour. Shame it's a quick glance while driving......heavy traffic sometimes helps for a change !

mmmm. even the old signal tower at the end of Vic harbour (the one thats being kept under their master plan) has killer views. i went up there about 10 years ago and was blown away by the view. and that was before docklands had really started...
