Like the South of the Border billboards, another thing that seems to be everywhere are the three crosses. The middle one for Jesus is painted yellow and the side ones are white. These are everywhere in West Virginia but can also be found in nearby states, such as eastern Kentucky, or like this one, in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Lynch Heights, DE
In between Frederica and Milford

The notable landmark is the big propeller, seen at left.

Such a thing obviously could only exist in Macon, Georgia. A few miles south of the city, I would guess. But then again I could be totally wrong.

Another staple of South of the Border is their billboards. There might be 50 of them on I-95 in North Carolina as you head south.
Agreed.....I grew up NC and I remember as kid driving down with my parents to South of the Border to buy fireworks..for 4th of July...it is a great quick stop for drivers going up and down I-95....from Maine all the way to Key West.
