My knowledge of economics isn't as great as it should be,but as the gateway of the Americas is Miami in a perfect position to capitalize on this with a booming Latin America?

Nice!
I'm hoping for Brickell to start attracting european and asian banks and financial companies aswell. Perhaps the financial brain power will still prefer London/NYC but among the second hand choices; Miami could easily beat Dubai as a place to work. |

Please explain how Miami can and will beat Dubai as a place to work as far as finance is concerned.

If you think Miami has dead streets and highways and an un-bearable summer... Wait till you see Dubai! No street-level activity at all, only highways and 120 in the summer... |

It'll be great to have something like that in Brickell or Downtown, but I have a hunch it'll probably end up in an office park in Doral.

A little bird told me they are looking in Brickell. It only makes sense to be in the center of the financial district of South Florida...why would they look in Doral?

RCL's headquarters are on Dodge Island, they just renewed the lease this year. They also have offices in Miramar.
