Yes there are no buyers for off-plan even at 50% discount. But what is the point of paying them more to complete it? I'm gonna lose 50% anyway even if they complete and I sell at 50% loss. So whats the point? Walking away is the better option, but why do I've to lose all of my paid amount? Other developers are transferring credit so at least investor can get some of the cash back. It developing goodwill for the developer, and perhaps helping them with cash too.

Fellow investors

Those investors how are paying for Elites 3 , 5 and 6 should stop paying any further instalments for just empty concrete shell.
Triplanet has just shown its ugly face and it it’s disturbing.
Today I just received the progress report to date for Elite 4, which shows no progress from August 2011.
in the past they have done 2 floors in a month to rake as much as the installment as possible and now they can’t put one nail on a wall in 2 months.
The project has now stopped and there is no way they can complete in summer 2012.
All above project will face the same fate.
Please force them to link your payments to the progress of the block work, mechanical, electrical , window & doors etc.

the maintenance and chiller fees /dewa will be more than its worth

also try finding an agent who would be bothered with such low commission..

well with rents going berzerk everywhere ( I rent for 65k in Marina, similar places now go for 85 90 ) once my 2 year lease ends i'm gonnna have a price hike. i'm sure other people will face the same and move to cheaper places .. unless we crash again! stay positive it will work out

good point ...maybe these apartments could work out in out favour..

sorry "O" just in a negative mood today, dealing with idiots at work...

Well, first they have to finish the project (s) before you start renting them..If they build with the same speed, you won't see your appartment soon...

Why would RERA remove it from their list????? It's not completed...still plenty to go...why are others not listed also...destiny is another....

It used to be general forum for UAE, but I've taken it down. I wanted to build social network type thing for UAE, but don't have much time these days to work on it. I'm thinking of starting something there that would require less development time.
