I'll see what I can do in the next day or two, the other photos were conveniently taken from my office block, which has a good view over much of the City Centre.

The Urban Village scheme is now topped out:

Looks like there's still a lot of work to do and the building frames are still under wraps for now. The block in the Strand really towers above Homebase. This development will definately help give Swansea a more city-like feel.

Hope my first try at uploading from Flickr is successful!
Thanks for these pictures. I had no idea that they were adding several floors to Barons without a total rebuild.

Barons is no more

Coastal seem to be taking up all the other developements that nobody else seems interested in and in the current environment who could turn that down.

Any development is better than no development in my eyes!

Not sure what the Barons Residential units are going to look like, until the wraps come off, not too far away from that I'd guess, looking at progress on site.

Urban Village Frontage Photos

New photos, excuse quality, off my HTC phone.

The rear of the development is pretty much covered with protective covers, so not that much to see.

One of the units in use already, The Evening Post Theatre, showing Mal Pope's Cappuchino Girls (if you like that sort of thing!)
