Lett-advokaterne Kolding, wants to build this 18 storey highrise at Pedersmindevej in Kolding, if they can buy the property from the municipality.

Architects, Schmidt, Hammer og Lassen.:

First heard about that shortly before the crisis hit, though it was dead long ago.

Doubt it. This is their current building in Kolding:

Why would they need a highrise?

We did it before, when we had the chance: 1956: Hotel Australia 40 m, 2006: Den Hvide Facet 56 m and 2013: De Fem Søstre 40 m.

2016: Now we'll do it again

Vejle.dk skriver:

Difficult to say, how many highrise buildings we will get on "posthusgrunden", and if they will be 75 meters or 60 meters... but 90% chance to suceed.

Only problem: will make it even more dangerous to cross the Veljefjord bridge. Vejles skyline is turning really nice these years.

It's no problem with the glas, you can easily look through it.

18 storey highrise comming up, in Sønderborg:

Quote:

Firmaet åbnede i 1972 Europas første badeland.

In Aalborg a lot of high-rise buildings are under construction.

Larsen Waterfront, youth housing and HQ for Himmerland Boligforening, on the Central Waterfront next to House of Music - 2014

Musikhuskvarteret, luxury apartments, on Østre Havn - 2015

Silo-byen, youth housing, on Østre Havn - 2015

Plaza, luxury apartments and offices, on Strandvejen next to Limfjordsbroen - 2015

Not a building, but a very high project
Aalborg University, 100 m antenna lab, on campus in Aalborg Øst - 2016

The skyline of Aalborg is under huge and beautiful development in the next years.

The transformation of the harbour front area in Aalborg is great. Copenhagen could learn a great deal from this. As I can tell it will be possible to walk all through the inner city part area of the water front with no obstacles. And this goes for both the Aalborg and the Nørresundby side of Limfjorden. I only wish there were more outgoing activities in the new developments west of Limfjordsbroen. Hopefully there will be east of the bridge. Especially close to the bridge and thus close to the city center.

Nørregadepassagen is under construction, which makes it possible to walk from the inner city to the area around Musikkens Hus and Østre Havn. City of Aalborg has learned a lot since they transformed the part west of Limfjordsbroen, because it is made for offices and housing for wealthy elders. Close to the bridge on the eastern side is there a lot of activity, because it is a mix of recreation with green spots, habour bath and sport and restaurants. Especially in the summer is the central waterfront the best place to be in Aalborg!

Yeah, I know that. I used to live in Aalborg for ten years and plan to move back sometime, when I can make all ends meet. I love that area, too. I just hope some space will be left for outgoing activities at street level in some of new buildings to the left of this area.
