Melbourne has a few of the above trams in service too. Why limit it to just Europe...Melbourne for instance has the largest tram network in the world

why...we have TV-monitors in berlin too...in underground, tram, bus and s-bahn-trains...soooo....!!

there is an annual film-festival called "going underground"...in 2006 they showed more than 457 movies from about 39 countries on 3. 768 monitors daily to more than 1.6 million passengers (again...daily!!) in the berlin underground...

There are monitors in buses even in Belgrade. It's a good place to run ads next to service information.
