PROJECT | New Natural History Musuem — Botanical Garden
The New Natural History Museum
Today the Natural History Museum consists of the Zoological Museum, the Botanical Garden and the Geological Museum, which will be united in a variety of new and existing buildings at the Botanical Garden in Copenhagen. The new museum is expected to be completed in 2016. You can follow the plans and the development of the new museum on this thread. Statens Naturhistoriske Museum. Timeline Competition period: 24 November 2011 - 29 February 2012 Disclosure: at the end of May 2012 New 31th of may Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter; arkitekt Claus H. Pryds; EKJ Rådgivende Ingeniører; professor og landskabsarkitekt Steen Høyer won the architect competition, and the winning proposal can be found here. Construction period: 2013-2016 Opening: 2016/2017  A render from the winning proposal.
