I've never said that it was an atrocious project visually speaking, on the contrary, I'd love to see that with my own eyes, that would certainly be amazing & impressive, but the problem is ----> its cost, 72m€ isn't a small amount (euphemism). Given the economic downturn, I don't think parisians are willing to take part to that project financially speaking, they have other fish to fry...

PS: the Mairie de Paris said they were not aware of it at all...

During the SIMI show 2011 (Real Estate Event), the developer Vinci announced that an agreement could be signed before late december with a promoter & a foreign Hotel branch enabling work to start in the 1st quarter 2012, by being cautious though. Given that City View Hotel is cleared of any claims, & that its planning permission has been extended, works carried out by one of Vinci's companies could therefore begin very quickly as no adjustments will be made to the project.
