That's not happening any time soon. KNH will still be the largest even after Aga Khan's expansion. In terms of private hospitals, most of them are equally good.

Openingo of Aga Khan Heart and Cancer Centre

Read more here

During his visit, the Aga Khan will preside over the opening of the Aga Khan University Hospital’s state-of the-art Heart and Cancer Centre.

The unit, built at a cost of $50 million, is one of the best cancer and heart treatment centres in the region and comparable to any in developed countries.

This is so cool.

Looks like cardiology is the in thing for the private hospitals nowadays. Karen hospital also specialize alot in that field. No more going to India or SA.

that's a lovely hospital,i think health tourism will catchup, however i don't think we have many of surgeons that support that industry,we have nurses,if you look at south africa, india-health tourism has picked up like crazy because there is a ton of doctors-most europeans and americans are opting for surgical procedures due to its costs.kenya we need to produce more doctors and other supporting infrastructure and things will look up,anyway its eastafrica-hire from ug or tz.
