It's not the distance but the road that leads to it,how good, how wide, the traffic and other support infra. In advanced countries with good road links and other support transport systems like trains and trams distance is no issue.

CdeO airport is relatively small and yet the passenger traffic and cargo movements is high. The new airport with international standards will further boosts its current state. Go go Northern Mindanao padayon paglambo

That's why yung ibang mga pasahero nakatayo na lamang habang naghihintay ng kanilang mga flights, kaya sana magamit na the soonest possible itong laguindingan

i submit, you are correct! because from cagayan de oro to laguindingan airport needs a wide road in order to abate the traffic.

If I find that Davao won't work, then I will have a look at other locations, with Iloilo likely being one of them, and will review the airport situation at that time. If all else fails, I am already familiar with Clark and know that will work, but would prefer to locate more out in the provinces where costs will be cheaper and in my opinion the living/work environment is better.

As a Filipino, one might want to compare different airports in the Philippines, and it would be an interesting topic among them. To me, an outsider, it serves me no purpose, being I likely will not be visiting those places.
Try considering GES in General Santos City. The home of Manny Pacquiao.

that national road leading to Laguindingan will be widened. I have read somewhere here in SSC about widening of that highway. That "consultant's" issues are somewhat legitimate but I can only say other consultants might can't get enough but take a second look at Cagyan de Oro The market is too lucrative just to let it pass by...LADP will make him realize how the big plan for that area around the airport by Ayala and how his future assessment of LADP and Cagayan de Oro will change once this airport opens

kung ayala man ang magdala sa airport ila gayud patsadahon ang sulod sa airport nga ginatawag ug aeroplis which means with in the perimeter gayud ang ilang patsadahon. bahin sa mga access roads, ang national government usab ang mag patsada sa mga roads going to the aiport. kung matuman kining tanan, ang laguindingan cagayan de oro international airport ang maka compet sa international arport in the whole world. more progress cdo and misamis oriental.

I doubt it that the Ayalas will manage and develop this airport. The best guess would be that they will develop the area around it.
