Warnings say Sudanese Antiquities Expose for Theft by Aliens
Khartoum (smc) Sudanese antiquities are exposed to theft by aliens due to weak control and lacks of deterrence penalties, reported local media on Sunday. Karma in northern state museum manager Abdel Majed Mohamed complains lack of enough antiquities staff to accompanied foreign missions in visiting antiquities areas. Meanwhile Mohamed urges for increasing inspectors to escort alien’s missions which increase dramatically during winter. It notes that eastern northern Sudan is a rich antiquities area attracting European tourists where old valuable archeological pieces are found. However he said due to lack of control; archeological illegal dealers operate actively in the area selling stolen pieces to aliens and smugglers.
