To be honest I guess this is a question of there being a lack of demand. When students can live in modern rooms with high speed internet and an en-suite bathroom, why live in a flat where you share a bathroom with five other people? It is a pity that they can't adapt the flats though - despite being rather blocky and squat, the layout of that place has a really nice villagy feel to it. I guess the uni can double the number of units on there though.
Ah well!

The multitude of works being carried out by the University in recent months must surely mean that they are in a good state financially.
