Credo announces second major commercial project at Business Bay

The second major commercial project at Business Bay has got underway with Credo Investments FZE announcing the launch of its Dhs500 million development 'The Prism.'
United Arab Emirates: 1 hour, 23 minutes ago

'The Prism.'

The project, which is strategically located at the entrance of the Business Bay with direct access to the city's arterial Sheikh Zayed Road, is the second commercial property being developed by Credo.

'After the overwhelming success of our first project Le Solarium at Dubai Silicon Oasis, the next logical step was Business Bay which is going to become the regions finest business capital,'

said Sajjad M Rashid, President, Credo Investments.

The work of the G+35 structure, to be built on a sprawling area of 66,000 square feet credited with a breath-taking view of the lake adjoining the complex, will start by the end of the year and the offices will be ready for occupation by the fourth quarter of 2008.

The Prism, which comes under the free hold property category, incorporates a wide range of modern-day features from technologically advanced Energy and Environment Systems, Biometric Fingerprint Verification for enhanced security to WiFi Hotspots, integrated structured cabling for voice and data over Ethernet and smart lighting conforming to 'green' environment standards.

The 10,000 sq. ft. lobby is fitted with 'mood lighting', which blends harmoniously with the elegant ambience.

The European-style Food Walk is a stretch of restaurants and cafes ideal for relaxation as it offers serene views of the lake and its lush surroundings.

The Prism's harmonious design incorporates the state-of-the-art telecommunications and video conferencing facilities making corporate life as simple and convenient as possible.

Apart from these, the executives can also enjoy the Prism's state of the art fitness Gym, swimming pool and other recreational facilities. The Prism has a parking facility for over 1000 cars spread over 3 basements and 4 podiums.

'We are committed to offering our investors superior quality commercial environments that are built with their businesses in mind and the management at Credo is committed to timely commencement of construction work and prompt deliveries of projects,' said Ali Reza Mohammed Ali, Managing Director - Credo Investments.

'Even before announcing the project, investors around the world have evinced immense interest in the project,' said Mohammed Dewji, CEO of Credo Investments.

As the prevailing rentals on the Sheikh Zayed Road are approximately Dhs225 per sq ft per year, the expected return for the investor would be over 15 percent, said Dewji.

Business Bay, with over 64 million square feet of freehold projects, offices and residences, is amongst the most ambitious initiatives of Dubai Properties. By sheer scale and vision, Business Bay is all set to provide a creatively stimulating environment for corporates from around the world.

With interests spanning from transport, manufacturing industry and IT to trading and real estate since 1910, Credo Investments FZE has become one of the leading companies in the Middle East region. Its recent project Le Solarium at Dubai Silicon Oasis has been a great success and the work has already commenced.

Credo Investments will build The Prism

Construction of the 35-storey structure, to be built on 66,000 sq ft, will start by the end of the year.

Dubai: Dubai-based Credo Investments will build The Prism, a Dh500 million project at Business Bay, Dubai's new business district.

Construction of the 35-storey structure, to be built on 66,000 square feet with views of the lake adjoining the complex, will start by the end of the year and the offices will be ready for occupation in late 2008.

The project, which is strategically located at the entrance of the Business Bay with direct access to the city's arterial Shaikh Zayed Road, is the second commercial property being developed by Credo.

"After the overwhelming success of our first project Le Solarium at Dubai Silicon Oasis, the next logical step was Business Bay which is going to become the region's finest business capital," said Sajjad Rashid, president of Credo Investments.

The 10,000 square foot lobby is fitted with 'mood lighting', which blends harmoniously with the elegant ambience.

The European-style Food Walk is a stretch of restaurants and cafes ideal for relaxation as it offers serene views of the lake and its lush surroundings.

The Prism's design incorporates the state-of-the-art telecommunications and video conferencing facilities making corporate life as simple and convenient as possible.

"Even before announcing the project, investors around the world have shown immense interest in the project," said Mohammad Dewji, CEO of Credo Investments.

I just hope that the finished ower looks a little better in terms of its colour. The cold and dull cement-grey used in the render isnt the best colour in the World. I hope that the glass panels are actually silver, like on the front of the NBD HQ. It would look stunning if they did that.
