Doesn't look like turf will go on this patch.

Re-landscaped path between the library and the day hospital.

Bike rack is now next to the library (and not next to the day hospital as it was)

This week walking past the completed residences, I noticed the names James Watt Residences and William Murdoch Residences (which is which?).

Also the sports pitch has it's net roof removed for some reason (only had it for a year or more).

In my pics in post 721 from March 2011 - is now grass. And in the middle that raised thing they can get water out of it.

Behind next to the library they are building / raising the brick wall up a bit.

I thought I had posted this at the time, feeling a bit misty eye seeing the old blocks again, haha.

Shouldn't that go in the Phase II thread?

If anyone is interested, this morning one of the "high level composite resin panels" from the tower blew off and fell to the ground. Accordingly some areas under the tower have been cordoned off.

Not sure where to post this, but it is a picture hanging on a wall in the main foyer, it looks like it shows how Aston Uni main Building would have looked without the wings added, and will look similar to sometime in the future.

The big building on the right in the background looks to be the new Cathedral just of Broad St that was planned around the same time as this in the 1930's, kind of a shame it was never built.
