They would be developed in Bhopal, Vidisha, Indore, Khandwa, Dhar, Jhabua, Jabalpur, Katni, Dewas, Ujjain, Neemach. Gwalior and Morena districts The State Cabinet here on Tuesday took several important decisions to bring about industrial revolution in the State. One of the major decisions is endorsement of the proposal to grant Government guarantee to HUDCO so that TRIFAC can avail Rs 900 crore loan from it for acquiring land for establishment of new industrial estates in the State, development of necessary infrastructure for major industrial estates and DMIC Project. The Cabinet decided that the State Government will give guarantee against loans to be obtained from HUDCO and other fiscal institutions by all the Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigams for developing industrial estates. It was informed that conducive atmosphere has been created in the State for industrial investment in the wake of constant campaigns undertaken by the State Government. The process of allotment of lands in industrial estates has also gathered momentum during the last four years. No plot of land is now available at major industrial estates of the State including Mandideep, Pithampur, Dewas, Malanpur, Borgaon etc. Besides, a number of pioneer industrial houses are demanding developed land. Keeping this situation in view, it was decided that industrial estates will be developed on 7675 hectares of land at 27 places in a phased manner during the next six years. These new industrial estates are Acharpura, Govindpura, Bagroda, Peepalner (all Bhopal), Jambad Bagri (Vidisha), Mandideep Phase-3, mega industrial park Biaora-Chachoda, Tamot Beelkheri (Raisen), Crystal IT Park (Indore), Bhavsingpura (Khandwa), Ujjaini (Dhar), Meghnagar (Jhabua), Bhurkal Khapa (Seoni), industrial estate Umaria-Dungariya (Jabalpur), mineral SEZ and industrial estate Hargarh-Sihora (Jabalpur), food park Amkuhi (Katni), Sirsoda (Dewas), Nazarpur (Ujjain), Morwan (Neemuch), Nemawar (Dewas), Pahadi (Morena), readymade garment park Gadaipura (Gwalior), industrial estate Gurh (Rewa), Bagaha (Satna), Bargawan (Singrauli) and industrial estate Maihar (Satna). Under the plan, projects of nine new industrial estates have been chalked out, which will be developed on 761 hectares of land at a cost of Rs255 crore. For this, the concerning Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigams (AKVNs) have been given permission to avail loans worth Rs128 crore from financial institutions. The cabinet also decided to develop necessary infrastructure in the major industrial estates of the State. As many as 5,217 industrial units exist in 43 industrial estates of AKVN and 185 industrial estates of Industries Department. A proposal was endorsed for securing Rs 190 crore loans from financial institutions for upgradation and development of requisite infrastructure in these industrial estates in a phased manner during the next three years. The Cabinet endorsed the policy for filling trenches of closed mines with solid waste. It was decided that public participation should be invited in levelling of land by solid waste and plantation thereon from environmental point of view, in the case of mines the condition of mine closure plan was not signed with the mine leaseholder at the time of sanctioning the lease. |

![]() ![]() ^ India already have largest numbers of SEZs in the world and there are no takers. Even reliance etc. leaving them in midway. And even after so many SEZs we are not a manufacturing nation as per GDP contribution . The point is that all of these are tricks to grab land and sell it for the residential projects to builders, its a nexus and recipe of corruption. |

To an extent this is correct. But this is true only if the land is near a growth center like a metro. The flip side is many industries even in big cities struggle for space and infrastructure like connectivity roads and power so these alternatives are required ...
