" IMPRESSIVE! " I, actually, preferred the previous design. But, THIS attractive design is like a blend of NYC's legendary Twin Towers and Battery Park City towers. Which proves, IMO, that the majority of the world's best architecture is occurring outside North America. Which is, too, ' carried away ' with glorified and over-scaled ' glass box ' architecture. What happened to OUR emphasis on distinction and variety? It seems to have gotten lost in developer's and the marketplace's pursuit of cityscape views.
Talk about ' be careful what you ask for '!..... There was a time when I couldn't see enough glass curtain-wall skyscrapers being constructed. Nowadays, I dare say that I'm somewhat tired of IT. North America's largest metros, especially in Canada, are erecting entire blocks of nondescript towers that lack distinction beyond their height and scale. It's becoming harder to distinguish Toronto, from Vancouver, from Calgary, and beyond..... ' Just sayin! '
