TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE INTO SAVING OUR BUILT HERITAGE! HELP SHARE THIS POST!

Last week, my friend and I visited the Legazpi-Urdaneta Monument in P. Burgos Drive, Manila and as we got closer to the monument, we noticed that some of the bronze plates that are attached to the monument are missing. A street bum who was resting beside the monument told us that a group of street junkies stole those bronze plates. The Legazpi-Urdaneta Monument was built sometime in 1912. Legazpi-Urdaneta monument may be outside Intramuros but it is still under the Intramuros Administration

kulang sa maintenance yung grounds sa celestial gardens ng tanchan memorial foundation kasi kulang sila funds. i hope na may mag invest or donate para ma preserve ang lugar na ito na frequented by local and foreign tourists.

this place was my playground more than 20 yrs. ago. there were few trees in the area back then. basically, the same ones you see now. i don't think the soil of the area would make it conducive for forests to thrive...
